Oppgave:

TV-aksjonen NRK has been held every autumn since 1974 and is considered the world's largest community fundraiser. Every year, 7,000 wonderful volunteers across the country work on organising TV-aksjonen in their municipality, and the goal is for 100,000 bucket carriers to visit every household in Norway within two hours on one Sunday in October. Together with SEEN, which produces data-driven videos, Sølvrev was tasked with creating a recruitment video to be sent to all previous volunteers with a thank-you for their efforts and an encouragement to recruit friends and acquaintances to the year's most important community effort.

Løsning:

Drawing on their own experience of volunteering and the challenges surrounding the concept, director and producer duo Sigurd Fossen and Christer Dyngeland wanted to give community work and volunteering a fresh new look. By highlighting some of the creativity that exists out there, one of the film's goals was to inspire others to get involved. Also joining the effort were several well-known faces – including Solveig Kloppen, Else Kåss Furuseth, Leo Ajkic and Henriette Steenstrup – all of whom participated pro bono in the production.

Resultat:

The celebrities' presence, combined with the personalisations from SEEN and the visual expression, helped create a modern and personal tribute to volunteering that we hope will help recruit many volunteers to future TV-aksjonen campaigns.
