Oppgave:

In connection with this year's customer dividend at Sparebanken Vest, Trigger wanted to make a large and for many incomprehensible sum feel personal. In total, one billion kroner was to be distributed, and by making it personal, the agency wanted to make the message more relevant and easier to understand, so that recipients could appreciate just how much Sparebanken Vest gives back to customers and to charitable causes.

Løsning:

Once Trigger had developed the concept behind the film and created an AI-generated storyboard in advance (which often sets a visually high bar to live up to in reality), Sølvrev's task was to shape the visual expression into a finished product of equally high quality. To achieve this, considerable effort was put into finding good locations that matched the storyboard images, and developing a plan for how the sunlight would hit the shots at the right time of day. Carefully selected props such as jackets, tents etc. were also used to clarify and reinforce Sparebanken Vest's identity as the sender. The final result was entirely dependent on sunshine to achieve the right feelgood atmosphere, and when snow fell two days before filming, the whole team had to step in to shake the trees and bushes free of snow. With great help from both crew and client during the shoot, VFX was used in post-production to create a warm and magical finish. The first personalised films were sent out on 22 March 2024 and included personalisation of the recipient's name, the amount credited to their account, which bank and local branch they belong to, as well as the total amount they have received in customer dividends over the course of their customer relationship.
