Oppgave:
Heidelberg Materials is Norway's largest supplier of cement. When Heidelberg Materials wanted to bring all its subsidiary businesses under one common brand with an increased focus on sustainability, Sølvrev was contacted. The task was to create a rebranding film for Scandinavia, with individual versions for Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Løsning:
Norcem has been producing cement at Brevik since 1916 and has been present throughout the building of Norwegian infrastructure – supplying cement to everything from roads, bridges and water infrastructure to the concrete foundations in the North Sea, right through to major modern projects such as Barcode. In many ways, cement has therefore been a kind of unsung hero in the story of Norway. With our solution, we wanted to show that Heidelberg has truly helped build the foundation of the society we have today, cementing a solid legacy and taking people on the journey as we now look ahead. We wanted to create a film that evoked positive feelings and told a human and intimate story about how important concrete and cement have been in building society. By connecting the threads from history to the present day, and ending with a look forward, we root the brand in a shared history and shared vision that feels true to our Scandinavian culture – a story everyone can be part of.

Resultat:
The result was a warm and human rebranding film that, through everyday images, introduces us to Heidelberg Materials, while tastefully showing how concrete and cement have helped shape society as we know it today and are present in our lives. By focusing on sustainability, it also points forward – where new and innovative solutions from Heidelberg Materials will help build a solid foundation for the future.
