Oppgave:
The Bergen International Festival has established itself as a centre for the Northern European arts scene, known for world premieres, new productions in music, opera, theatre and dance, and a rich diversity of programme. Unique venues such as the composer Edvard Grieg's own home and the 750-year-old royal residence Håkonshallen provide a historic setting for a distinguished festival that gives audiences hundreds of live and exploratory artistic experiences across dozens of stages every year. In 2021, Sølvrev won the contract to create several videos documenting and promoting the Bergen International Festival 2021/2022. The videos were to generate increased engagement for the Bergen International Festival online and in social media, and help introduce and document several of the events.
Løsning:
We were present throughout the festival period in 2021 and 2022, interviewing several key contributors and participants at the various events. By documenting both the preparations and the events themselves, we created an attractive and cohesive frame for the festivals, which resulted in great enthusiasm and engagement in social media.
Resultat:
During the 2022 festival, three of our videographers were dedicated to the task and the result was over 40 films in 15 days, including promo material and an aftermovie.
