Sølvrev Cup – Football tournament in aid of Blå Kors

Fotballcup til inntekt for Blå Kors.

Together with Blå Kors and the Sales and Advertising Association in Bergen, we hosted the Sølvrev Cup 2023, with all proceeds going directly to Blå Kors – Steg for steg. In addition to the tournament itself during the day, Sølvrev also organised a banquet at Engen Restaurant with a formal prize ceremony. In total, 150 players from various companies and organisations in Bergen took part, and a remarkable NOK 85,000 was raised for Steg for steg. "Most of us have seen how substance abuse creates negative ripple effects in society. Whether it is close or more distant relationships that are affected, we know all too well how it destroys lives, close relationships and entire families. That is why the work of Blå Kors – Steg for steg is so important, and something we want to help support." – Terje André Helgheim, Entrepreneur and customer adviser. With a particular focus on challenges related to substance abuse, crime and mental health, Blå Kors – Steg for steg helps people experiencing loneliness and social exclusion to make desired changes in their lives. Through mapping conversations, participants are able to formulate their own goals and needs, with the reassurance that support is available along the way. The goal is to build everyday competence – a set of practical and social skills necessary for living a "normal life".
