We at Sølvrev love spending time in nature – whether out on a production, in the mountains, the forest or at sea. That is why we are very proud to be an Eco-Lighthouse company. In doing so, we have committed to running our business in a sustainable and responsible manner that takes the environment into account. With an effective environmental management system that helps businesses reduce their environmental impact, stimulate green transition and increase competitiveness, the Eco-Lighthouse is Norway's most widely used certification scheme for businesses. It is recognised by public authorities in procurement processes and tendering, and is also the first national scheme in Europe to have been recognised by the EU. With the Eco-Lighthouse certification, we are better equipped to meet new everyday challenges and seize new opportunities in a rapidly changing working life. From the very beginning, Sølvrev has chosen to rent rather than own cars, and we buy most of our furniture and equipment second-hand. In connection with the certification, we have also put in place an environmental policy along with routines for follow-up, procurement, waste management and HSE. For us, this is just the beginning – but we look forward to continuing the work towards a more sustainable future and a greener production.
