Christmas gifts for the future – Support for the Norwegian Childhood Cancer Society

In previous years, Sølvrev made the rounds to clients and partners to deliver Christmas gifts, but from 2020 onwards we started doing something new. Even though Christmas gifts are a lovely tradition, we wanted to give the money to those who truly need it. We chose the Norwegian Childhood Cancer Society and their important work to secure children's futures. "We at Sølvrev are proud that our Christmas gift goes to vital research and support initiatives for children and young people with cancer. We have chosen to give this type of gift because we want to make a difference – and perhaps inspire others to do the same." – Daniel Eikeland, CEO of Sølvrev. The Norwegian Childhood Cancer Society is an independent, voluntary, nationwide organisation run by families who have or have had children with cancer. Their goal is that no child should die of cancer. By acting as a support partner and information resource for families affected by childhood cancer, no one should feel alone. The organisation is also the leading advocate in Norway for raising awareness of childhood cancer in the media and in society, while contributing to research and education in the fight against childhood cancer. In addition, in 2023 we chose to donate NOK 15,000 to Livets Tre – a social project for children in the slums outside São Paulo that works to give children a good daily life and a better future.

Livets Tre.

I tillegg valgte vi i 2023 å gi 15.000 kr til Livets Tre, et sosialprosjekt for barn i slummen utenfor Sao Paulo som jobber for å gi barn en god hverdag og en bedre fremtid.
