Our first full year as an Eco-Lighthouse certified company provides valuable insight for our continued work towards greener production.

Becoming an Eco-Lighthouse certified company first and foremost makes you far more aware of the company's and employees' impact on the environment. You gain concrete figures that show where the pressure points are and what changes need to be made in day-to-day operations to reduce your footprint.

Since becoming an Eco-Lighthouse certified company, we have:

introduced waste sorting and established sorting routines, increasing our recycling rate.
reduced energy consumption in our office premises, as well as the number of flights compared to previous years.
continued to rent rather than own cars, and increased the number of trips made using electric vehicles instead of petrol cars.
continued to buy and sell second-hand.
improved our health, safety and environment routines with regular safety rounds, installed first aid cabinets in the offices and completed a joint first aid course run by the Red Cross.
maintained our low sick leave rate, conducted regular employee reviews and social gatherings, as well as staff meetings.
established a deposit return agreement with Infinitum.

And the figures show we are heading in the right direction. But this is ongoing work, and we will now dig deeper into last year's results and set new goals and measures to improve further. We still have a way to go, particularly when it comes to travel and transport.
