For the fifth consecutive time, Sparebanken Vest is distributing customer dividends to its customers. The individual amount each customer receives is communicated through a personalised video created by Trigger with Sølvrev as producer.
An average mortgage customer at Sparebanken Vest can receive NOK 8,760 in customer dividends directly into their account in April. A couple with four million kroner in mortgage debt in 2023 could receive NOK 17,720 in customer dividends this spring.
Personalised amount and local branch.
Trigger developed the concept behind the film, and creative director Bjørnar Thorsen explains that they were focused on making a large and, for many people, incomprehensible sum feel personal. "One billion kroner is an enormous amount of money – a figure most of us struggle to relate to. By making the amount personal, the message becomes more relevant, and it is easier for people to appreciate how much Sparebanken Vest gives back to its customers and to charitable causes," says Thorsen. Bjørnar Thorsen, forteller at de var opptatt av å gjøre et stort og for mange uforståelig beløp, personlig.
This is not the first time Sparebanken Vest has made a film in connection with customer dividends, but it is the first time they have personalised it in this way. Øyvind Harkestad believes the approach will go down well with customers. "We do not use personalisation just for the sake of it – we do it because it enriches the message. We are a savings bank that gives back to customers and society, and there is no better way to demonstrate that than by showing customers exactly how large a slice of the cake they receive."
